The Maserati Nettuno V6 3000-cc twin turbo engine is an engineering marvel based on pre-chamber architecture able to deliver outstanding power or improved efficiency. The core of the engine, the combustion system, is composed substantially of three main components.
The injection system that, by combining port injection and direct injection, generates a fuel feed pressure of 530 bars, fosters noise reduction at low revs, lowers the emission level, and improves specific fuel consumption.
The benefits of the pre-chamber system are a more efficient combustion and a lower tendency to knock, which both enable impressive improvement in terms of efficiency. This process may enhance the performance of the car or lead a more effective fuel economy, or even to a combination of the two.
Oceanic hues inspired by the sea and the restless energy beneath the waves are captured in a mesmerizing new color available exclusively for the Maserati MC20 Cielo: Acquamarina. As it reflects the sky and the sea shimmering and shifting in motion, it is always restless, always moving forward.
Dramatic effect doesn’t stop when the MC20 Cielo stands still. While remaining a spyder in the purest sense, the doors shift upwards and outwards towards the sky as they open. Without compromising weight or performance, every arrival is an event.
Windtunnel-sculpted to integrate seamlessly into the overall design concept, the MC20 Cielo’s retractable roof is also extremely quick. The hard top PDLC glass roof can still give the impression of an open top and the endless sky above, even when closed.
The MC20 Cielo’s engine provides an epic soundtrack of its own, yet in the cockpit another sound experience awaits. The Sonus faber Sound System adds more to the entire sensory experience. This system instantly recognizes the configuration of the MC20 Cielo and adjusts the sound dynamics according to the roof being off or on.
In the driver’s hands, the steering wheel is where the soul of the MC20 Cielo is controlled. Perfectly encased in Alcantara leather and embodying the sportiness and luxury that is Maserati, the MC20 Cielo’s steering has carbon detailing and controls at your fingertips while driving.
The Extended Alcantara® Pack transforms the interior with distinctive colored “laser effects” on the door panels and seats and includes the new Ice variation. Added to this is uncompromised storage space - a feat achieved through smart, integrated design on the MC20 Cielo.
Maserati North America, Inc. (herein referred to as MASERATI) warrants to the first retail purchaser and to subsequent retail purchasers (except as hereinafter provided) each new U.S. specification MASERATI Vehicle sold by an Authorized MASERATI Dealer to the retail purchaser to repair any item on your vehicle when it left the manufacturing plant that is defective in material, workmanship or factory preparation for a period of forty-eight (48) months or 50,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the date of delivery to the first retail purchaser.
Centrally displayed behind the steering wheel, this screen allows access to all of the vast Maserati Advanced Drivers Assistance Systems present on the MC20 Cielo.
Unlatched turn logic on the Drive Mode Selector is used on the MC20 in order to select the respective driving modes. Perfectly situated on the central console, it allows shifts in mode to happen quickly to react to any driving conditions or preferences.
